Hello folks! I haven't updated this thing in a very long time and I figure I probably should. I stay busy enough with the blogs that I hardly ever feel the need to update this, but I found recently that there have been a few people reading this. And I'm certainly not 27 anymore, like what I had mentioned previously. No, in fact, I'm 29 now and the big 3-0 is knocking on the door-step. I can't believe I'll actually turn "that number" here in just a few short months. Anyhow, to continue on... I live here in the wonderful city of Grand Forks, ND and work as an Operational Meteorologist for Meridian Environmental Technology, Inc. Shockingly, I will be celebrating my 4-year anniversary at Meridian in about a month and while I never really thought I'd stick around GF for an extended period of time, I'm finding myself accepting North Dakota as my home. I'm a Hoosier native, at heart, however, and do cheer on my Indiana Hoosiers and Indianapolis Colts, still. So, no worries!

As far as other aspects of my life... Yes, ladies, I am still single (and looking). I continue to meet new people and have made some great friends over the past few years. Unfortunately, nothing special has come about, but I continue to realize that I can't force things and I'm sure that God will let that happen when the right time comes along. I enjoy many things... Listening to music, blogging, watching and playing sports, and photography are only a sample of these items. In general, though, spending time outdoors has taken up most of my time this summer. Winters in Grand Forks, North Dakota can be brutal, yes, but summers can simply be gorgeous. This year, we've been lucky. It hasn't been insanely hot and while we've had our share of deluges, it's been fairly dry. Cool temperatures and relatively dry conditions certainly works wonders on the old "Skeeter Meter!" It exists, it really does! That has allowed my friends and I to get out and enjoy the great weather. I've been running, jogging, and walking a lot this summer and have even pulled the bike out on occasion. On top of that, we've actually been able to get a few softball games together at work! That has been amazing...
