  • April 20, 2004: Successfully forecasted severe weather event, intercepting and reporting an F-1 Tornado near Lincolnville, IN to Northern Indiana NWSFO.

  • March 2004: Began participation in StormContest.com (a convective probability forecasting contest among former colleagues).

  • June 21, 2003: Appointed INCHASE Secretary for second term.

  • November 10, 2002: Successfully tracked F-4 tornado through Van Wert County, OH. Rendered aid by giving charities to local Red Cross chapter.

  • August 12, 2002: Amateur Radio Technician Operator License issued (KC9CGJ).

  • June 22, 2002: Appointed Secretary of INCHASE.

  • June 2001: Became active member (#22) of INCHASE.

  • June 13, 2000: Participated in forecasting techniques during severe weather event. Used Doppler PUP Unit and called county officials for warning verification.

  • May 17-26, 1999: Participated in Convective Field Study in Meteorology at VU.
